Adventurers Class In early 1990 a group of interested members met to determine if there was a need for activities for singles at Aldersgate. Those meetings were continued for several weeks and it was decided to pursue a monthly dance for area singles. The class grew out of increased interest and participation. The classroom on the east side of the building is usually filled on Sunday mornings with singles and a few married couples who elected to stay with the group after their single status changed. The class averages 25-30 in attendance. A close friendship and concern for each other is very evident when you enter this group. Being single is not always easy and the members continue to be concerned for each other and offer a helping hand when needed. The discussion-type lessons cover coping with all aspects of daily living through Bible scriptures. Various fun and social activities are planned for each month.
