CHILDREN'S CHURCH //sunday morning

During our worship services, your children are welcome to stay with you the whole time, or we also have children’s church during both our worship services. All children start out the worship service with their parents, and then are dismissed to children’s church after our time of Young Disciples (a children’s sermon with the pastor every week) During the first service, children’s church is for 3 years old - Kindergartners. And during the second service, we have two children’s church services, one for 3-5 year olds, and one for K-2nd graders. During children’s church, the kids learn an age appropriate main point for the day (such as I will be kind when others are mean, or I will obey, etc.) and a Bible story to go along with it. There is a fun video, games and a craft to go along with each lesson. There is also a take home page where you can see what they have learned and see ways you can reinforce and continue the learning at home.

SUNDAY SCHOOL //sunday (10:15 - 11:05) (3 years-5th grade)

We are blessed at Aldersgate to have very experienced teachers in our Sunday School department. During the school year, we explore the Bible with FaithWeaver Curriculum. This series uses games and gadgets to teach Bible studies that weave faith into life.

KIDS FOR CHRIST //sunday (5:00-7:00) (3 years-5th grade)

Sunday evenings are when kids to come together and learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

We have a main theme every week, games, crafts, and activities that help the kids learn how to apply that Biblical truth to their lives.

We also send the kids home with a “God Time” page each week that will encourage them to have personal time with God at home. It also a great thing to complete with your kids. The kids earn points that can be traded in for prizes for completing their God Time pages, learning their memory verse, and having good behavior.

The kids will also eat supper (they can bring their own OR you can purchase it for them for $8/month) and they can go to choir for 30 minutes if that interests them. Kids for Christ is a fun time that the kids look forward to every week!

Our nursery is staffed by wonderful adults and college students who truly love your children. You can feel relaxed worshiping or attending classes knowing your children are well cared for.
